ファミマプレミアムビーフカレー
通常のこだわりカレーと何が違う？
ファミリーマートで販売されている、
ファミマプレミアムビーフカレーの値段は530円。
通常のこだわりカレーの298円と比べると、
200円以上も高い。
何がそんなに違うのか。
ファミリーマートの広報曰く、
ファミマプレミアムビーフカレーは、
肉とルーをそれぞれ専門の工場で作る事で、
専門店に近い味を再現させているという。
ちなみに298円のカレーは、
家庭で作るように、
玉ねぎと豚肉を炒めカレー粉を投入。
すべて手作業で約1時間後には完成。
しかし、
ファミマプレミアムビーフカレーはこんなものではない。
衝撃の手間暇！
プレミアムカレーは肉とルーにとことんこだわる
番組はプレミアムカレーの肉の専門工場に潜入。
原料は牛のバラ肉。
この牛のバラ肉を3つの方法で柔らかく仕上げる。
1つ目は肉を無数の針で肉に穴をあける。
2つ目はブイヨンスープを2時間漬け込む。
3つ目は寝かせた肉を真空パックに入れて、
2時間かけて煮込む。
ちなみに真空パックに入れるのは、
具材が煮崩れを起こさないようにする為。
煮込んだお肉は丸1日冷蔵庫で寝かせてから、
次の日にようやくカットする。
そして更に切った肉を、
真空パックに入れ、1時間も煮込む。
全工程で4日間かけるお肉は、
きちんと味の染み込んだ、
手でほぐれる柔らかさのお肉となる。
そしてルーも3日間かけてブイヨンから作っている。
大量の鶏ガラに、
セロリなどの野菜を加え、
12時間も煮込む。
そこに9種類のスパイスと炒めた玉ねぎを投入。
更に36時間煮込めば、
3日がかりでプレミアムなルーが完成。
このルーをご飯、お肉と共に盛り付ければ、
ファミマプレミアムビーフカレーの完成である。

全工程で4日間もかけて530円の値段設定は、
むしろ安いと感じるのは私だけでしょうか。
ちなみに、番組では出演者が食し、
このカレーの味をホテルのカレーのようだと、
絶賛しておりました。
ファミリーマートには、
私もよく足を運ぶ機会がありますが、
