《深イイ話》今枝昌子「不眠改善の為のリフレクソロジー！不眠症患者に共通する特徴は親指が固い！？」
寝苦しくなるこの夏の時期、
ぐっすり眠れる睡眠法を紹介する。
リフレクソロジーで不眠に悩む6000人の患者の足に触れてきた、
日本快眠協会の代表理事である今枝昌子が、
不眠症を改善し快眠に導くリフレの方法を紹介。
そもそもリフレクソロジーとは、
足裏に全身の器官が繋がっているという考えがもととされ、
足裏の反射区を押すことで身体の疲労改善をはかる療法である。
1910年でアメリカ医学的な研究が始まり、
現在イギリスでは保険適用化され、
欧州を中心に医療として認めら始めている。
リフレクソロジーの主な効果として、
血液循環やリンパの流れが良くなり、
肩こり改善や、
臓器の働きが活発になり、
食欲不振の改善が挙げられる。
そしてそんなリフレクソロジーにおいて、
不眠に悩む人達の足裏には共通の特徴があるという。
今枝昌子によると、
その共通する特徴とは「親指が固い」ということである。
足の指各々には、
それぞれ繋がっている体の器官があり、
親指は頭とつながっている。
つまり、親指を刺激すれば、
脳が活性化し、
ホルモンバランスを整え、
自律神経を正し、
不眠の改善に繋がるのだという。
具体的に、
快眠に導く親指リフレの手法を紹介。
その①
足の親指の付け根から指の腹へほぐす
その②
足の親指の両脇を上へ押し揉む
その③
シコリがある部分は重点的にもみほぐす
この親指リフレで不眠症が治り、
今枝昌子のもとへは多くの患者からお礼のメッセージが届いているという。

個人的にはリフレクソロジーをあまり行ったことがなかったのですが、
ちょっと今回の情報を見聞きして、
やってみたくなってきましたね。
リフレクソロジーとは、

都市伝説的な感じがしてこれまで疎遠であったのですが、
