《相葉マナブ》クリーニングしたYシャツは洗濯した方が良い！再度洗う理由は洗濯のりにあった！

私達がこれまで特に疑問を持たずに、
何気無く生活していた事には、
より良い方法が他にあるということが、
実は結構ある。
そこで、今回は身近な暮らしの中で、
今すぐ実践出来るより良い方法を検証しながら学ぶ。
教えてくれるのは文京学院大学・目白大学の、
橋本由愛子講師。
テーマは「よくある生活の注意点～洋服編～」。
クリーニングしたYシャツは洗濯した方が良い！
洗濯のりが害虫を発生させる！？
クリーニングから返ってきたYシャツを、
長期間しまう時に、
そのまま収納してしまう人は多いはず。
しかしこれには注意する点がある。
実はクリーニングに出したYシャツは、
一度洗ってから収納した方が良いという。
クリーニングから返ってきたYシャツというのは、
パリパリになる「洗濯のり」が付いている。
洗濯のりの主成分は「でんぷん」であり、
このでんぷんは害虫の大好物となっている。
※但し、人工洗濯のりを除く。
つまりクリーニングから返ってきたYシャツは、
一度洗濯をして、洗濯のりを取らなければいけない。
医昆虫学専門家の田原雄一郎博士によると、
洗濯のりはでんぷんが主成分としているものが多く、
でんぷんは害虫の食べ物になりやすいので、
もし長期間クリーニングした後のYシャツを保存する場合、
虫の害に合わない為に、
酵素が入った洗剤で、
一度洗ってから収納する事が安全だという。

クリーニングした衣類を再度、
洗濯機にかけるなんて、
まるでクリーニングで汚してしまったみたいで、
矛盾した行為に感じられますね。
但し、これはあくまでも、
長期保存する際の情報なので、
短期間で着用する場合は、
パリっとのりの効いたYシャツを、
そのまま着用すれば良いでしょう。
ちなみに、
予め長期にわたり収納する予定があるのであれば、
クリーニングに出す際に、
「洗濯のりを使用しないで欲しい旨」を伝えれば、
大抵のクリーニング屋は要望を聞いてくれると思うので、
伝えてみると良いと思います。
